The Canton of Angers-Nord was by 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement of Angers , in the department of Maine-et-Loire and the region Pays de la Loire ; its main town was Angers .

In the course of the reorganization in 2015, the canton was dissolved and its communes divided among other, newly established cantons .

history

A canton of Angers-Nord existed from 1964 to 1973. The canton in its current form has existed since the administrative reform in 1982. At that time it was still called Angers-7. In 1985 Angers-7 was renamed Angers-Nord.
