Cantenay-Épinard is located about seven kilometers north-northwest of Angers on the Mayenne . Cantenay-Épinard is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Soulaire-et-Bourg in the north, Écouflant in the east, Angers in the south, Avrillé in the south-west, Montreuil-Juigné in the west and Feneu in the north-west.
