Baracé is a French commune with the last 580 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Angers and the canton of Tiercé (until 2015: Canton Durtal ). The inhabitants are called Baracéens .

geography

Baracé is located about 20 kilometers northeast of Angers in the Baugeois on the Loir , which forms the southern municipal boundary. Baracé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Morannes sur Sarthe-Daumeray in the north, Huillé in the east, Seiches-sur-le-Loir in the south and Tiercé in the west and south-west.
