Beaucouzé is a French commune in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The place is on the outskirts of Angers and is affiliated with the Angers Loire Métropole municipal association.

Due to the proximity to the metropolis of Angers and the settlement of several companies, Beaucouzé has experienced enormous growth in its population. From 638 inhabitants in 1962, this has increased to currently 5156 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). In addition to three schools, the place also houses an important industrial district.

Beaucouzé has had a close town partnership with Selb in Upper Franconia since 2000 . Since 1997 there has been a friendship treaty between the two communities.
