Montreuil-sur-Loir is a French municipality with 569 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Angers and the Canton of Angers-6 (until 2015: Canton Tiercé ). The inhabitants are called monsteriolais .

geography

Montreuil-sur-Loir is located about 14 kilometers northeast of Angers in the Anjou region on the Sarthe , which forms the eastern municipal boundary. Neighboring municipalities of Montreuil-sur-Loir are Tiercé in the north and west, Seiches-sur-le-Loir in the east, Corzé in the south and Rives-du-Loir-en-Anjou with Soucelles in the south and west.
