Étriché is a French commune with last 1,549 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Angers and the canton of Tiercé (until 2015: Canton Durtal ). The inhabitants are called Étrichéens .

geography

Étriché is located about 25 kilometers north-northeast of Angers in the Baugeois on the Sarthe , which forms the western boundary of the municipality. Étriché is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Les Hauts d'Anjou in the north, Morannes sur Sarthe-Daumeray in the northeast, Tiercé in the south and east, Cheffes in the southwest, Juvardeil in the west and Châteauneuf-sur-Sarthe in the northwest.
