Petit Mustique is a small, uninhabited island in the Grenadines archipelago in the island state of St. Vincent and the Grenadines . It is located off the south coast of Mustique .

geography

The island is just over 2 km south of the southernmost point of Mustique. In between lies the tiny rocky island of Petit Cay , which is the continuation of the north-western tip of the island. Like all the islands of the Grenadines, Petite Mustique is very rugged. Six headlands jut out into the sea and enclose the island's bays, so the outline of the island is roughly the shape of a gummy bear. The southern tip is stretched out a little longer than the others and south of the southwestern (central) tip of the land there is still the Dry Rock and about 500 m southwest of it there is a reef.

The island is characterized by almost all-round cliffs. There are few possibilities to get to the island from the sea and the heights of the island are covered with dense vegetation. The island chain of Leeward Islands ( Lesser Antilles ) continues to the south with the Savan Island Group.
