Mozé-sur-Louet is a French municipality with 1991 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Angers and the canton of Chemillé-Melay (until 2015: canton of Les Ponts-de-Cé ). The inhabitants are called Mozéen .
geography
The community is about twelve kilometers south of Angers and belongs to the Anjou wine-growing region . The Louet , a tributary of the Loire , and the Aubance flow through the northern part of the municipality. Mozé-sur-Louet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Jean-de-la-Croix in the north and north-west, Mûrs-Erigné in the north, Soulaines-sur-Aubance in the east, Faye-d'Anjou in the south and south-east, Beaulieu- sur-Layon in the south and south-west, Rochefort-sur-Loire in the west and Denée in the north-west.
The A87 car route runs through the municipality .
