The Communauté de communes Loire Layon Aubance is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It was founded on December 16, 2016 and comprises 19 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Saint-Georges-sur-Loire .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

with the simultaneous formation of the Communes nouvelles

  • Brissac Loire Aubance
  • Les Garennes sur Loire and
  • Terranjou .
