The Canton Segre is a French administrative unit in the Arrondissement Segre , in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . Its main town is Segré-en-Anjou Bleu .
In 2015 it was reorganized and took over the municipalities from the abandoned cantons of Candé and Pouancé . As a result, it has grown to 35 communities on an area of 712.75 km². As a result of congregations merging, the number of member congregations decreased to eleven today.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the cantons in 2015, the canton of Segré consisted of 15 municipalities on an area of 169.60 km²: Aviré , Le Bourg-d'Iré , La Chapelle-sur-Oudon , Châtelais , La Ferrière-de-Flée , L ' Hôtellerie-de-Flée , Louvaines , Marans , Montguillon , Noyant-la-Gravoyère , Nyoiseau , Sainte-Gemmes-d'Andigné , Saint-Martin-du-Bois , Saint-Sauveur-de-Flée and Segré (main town). Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 4930.
