Combrée is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Ombrée d'Anjou with 2,800 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Combréens .
The municipality Combrée was on 15 December 2016, nine other communities, including La Chapelle-Hullin , Chazé-Henry , Grugé-l'Hôpital , Noëllet , Pouancé , La Prévière , Saint-Michel-et-Chanveaux , Le Tremblay and Vergonnes to the new municipality of Ombrée d'Anjou. The municipality belonged to the arrondissement Segré and the canton Segré (until 2015: canton Pouancé ).

Combrée is located about 30 kilometers northwest of Angers and is bordered to the south by the Verzée river . The municipality of Combrée was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Grugé-l'Hôpital in the north and northwest, Bourg-l'Évêque in the north, Noyant-la-Gravoyère in the Osen, Le Bourg-d'Iré in the southeast, Le Tremblay in the south, Noëllet in the Southwest and Vergonnes in the west.
The former route nationale 775 (today's D775) leads through the area of the former municipality .
