Reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017
As a result of the reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017, the area of the two former municipalities Chemiré-sur-Sarthe and Pruillé was assigned to the Arrondissement Angers from the Arrondissement Segré .
Instead, the area of the four municipalities of Bécon-les-Granits , Saint-Augustin-des-Bois , Saint-Sigismond and Val d'Erdre-Auxence changed from the Arrondissement of Angers to the Arrondissement of Segré.
