Champteussé-sur-Baconne is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Chenillé-Champteussé with 218 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire .

Champteussé was renamed Champteussé-sur-Baconne on March 8, 1962.

With effect from January 1, 2016, the communes of Chenillé-Changé and Champteussé-sur-Baconne were merged into a commune nouvelle called Chenillé-Champteussé. The commune of Champteussé-sur-Baconne belonged to the Arrondissement of Segré and the canton of Tiercé (until 2015: canton of Châteauneuf-sur-Sarthe ).
