Cherré is a village and a commune déléguée in the French commune Les Hauts d'Anjou with 560 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the canton of Tiercé (until 2015: canton of Châteauneuf-sur-Sarthe ) in the arrondissement of Segré in the Maine-et department -Loire and in the region of Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Cherréens .

On December 15, 2016, the municipality of Cherré merged with Brissarthe , Champigné , Contigné , Marigné , Sœurdres and Querré to form the new municipality of Les Hauts d'Anjou.
