The Połaniec Power Plant is a coal-fired power plant in Połaniec , Świętokrzyskie , Poland . It is owned by Enea and operated by Enea.

In 2017, Enea took over 100% of the shares in ENGIE Energia Polska from Engie , the previous operator of Połaniec.

Unit 8 was converted from 2010 to 2012 for the combustion of biomass. Up to 890,000 t of wood chips and 220,000 t of agricultural waste are to be used annually. The cost of conversion amounted to 290 million USD .
In 2015, Alstom received the order to modernize blocks 2 to 7. This will increase the output of these units to 240 MW. The order value was € 65 million .
