Contigné is a village and a commune déléguée in the French commune Les Hauts d'Anjou with 746 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the canton of Tiercé (until 2015: canton of Châteauneuf-sur-Sarthe ) in the arrondissement of Segré in the Maine-et department -Loire and in the region of Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Contignéens .

The municipality of Contigné merged with Brissarthe , Champigné , Cherré , Marigné , Sœurdres and Querré to form the new municipality of Les Hauts d'Anjou on December 15, 2016 .

Contigné is 53 kilometers southeast of Le Mans and 30 kilometers north-northeast of Angers .
