The Arrondissement of Châteaubriant-Ancenis is a new administrative unit established on January 1, 2017 in the Loire-Atlantique department in the Pays de la Loire region of France . The sub-prefecture is Châteaubriant . It mainly consists of the former arrondissements of Ancenis and Châteaubriant .
It consists of seven cantons and 76 municipalities.

Reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017
As a result of the reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017, the former arrondissements of Ancenis and Châteaubriant and the four municipalities of Grandchamps-des-Fontaines , Sucé-sur-Erdre , Treillières and Vigneux-de-Bretagne were formed from the arrondissement of Nantes to form the new arrondissement of Châteaubriant-Ancenis .
