Teillé ( Breton : Tilhieg ; Gallo : Teilhaé ) is a French municipality with 1,791 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . Teillé belongs to the arrondissement of Châteaubriant-Ancenis and the canton of Nort-sur-Erdre (until 2015: canton of Riaillé ). The inhabitants are called Teilléens .
geography
Teillé is about 33 kilometers northeast of Nantes . Teillé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Riaillé in the north, Pannecé in the east and north-east, Mésanger in the east and south, Mouzeil in the south and south-west and Trans-sur-Erdre in the west and north-west.
