Loireauxence is a French commune in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Châteaubriant-Ancenis is part of the canton of Ancenis . Loireauxence was formed as a commune nouvelle on January 1, 2016 from the municipalities of Varades , Belligné , La Chapelle-Saint-Sauveur and La Rouxière .

Loireauxence lies between the cities of Nantes and Angers . The Loire limits the municipality to the south. Loireauxence is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vallons-de-l'Erdre in the north and north-west, Val-d'Erdre-Auxence in the north and north-east, Saint-Sigismond in the east, Le Fresne-sur-Loire , Montrelais and Saint-Laurent-du -Mottay in the south-east, Mauges-sur-Loire in the south and south-west, Vair-sur-Loire in the south-west and La Roche-Blanche in the west.
The A11 autoroute and the Tours – Saint-Nazaire railway line run through the municipality .
