Belligné ( Breton : Belenieg ; Gallo : Belinyaé ) is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Loireauxence with 1,759 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Bellignéens .

Since January 1, 2016, the municipality of Belligné has been part of the Commune nouvelle Loireauxence together with the former municipalities of La Chapelle-Saint-Sauveur , La Rouxière and Varades . It belonged to the arrondissement of Saint-Nazaire and the canton of Ancenis (until 2015: canton of Varades ).
