La Rouxière is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Loireauxence with 1,174 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire .

Since January 1, 2016, the commune of La Rouxière has been part of the Commune nouvelle Loireauxence together with the former communes of Belligné , La Chapelle-Saint-Sauveur and Varades . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Ancenis and the Canton of Ancenis .
