Casson ( Breton : Kazon ; Gallo : Caczon ) is a French municipality with 2303 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . Casson belongs to the arrondissement of Châteaubriant-Ancenis and the canton of Nort-sur-Erdre . The inhabitants are called Cassonais .
geography
Casson is about 22 kilometers north of Nantes . Casson is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Nort-sur-Erdre in the north and east, Sucé-sur-Erdre in the south and south-east, Grandchamp-des-Fontaines in the south and south-west and Héric in the west and north-west.
