Erbray is a French commune with 3,006 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Châteaubriant and the canton of Châteaubriant-Ancenis (until 2015: canton of Saint-Julien-de-Vouvantes ). The inhabitants are called Erbréens .

geography

Erbray is about 40 kilometers north-northeast of Nantes on the River Cône . Erbray is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Soudan in the north, Juigné-des-Moutiers in the east and north-east, Saint-Julien-de-Vouvantes in the east and south-east, Petit-Auverné in the south, Moisdon-la-Rivière in the west and south-west, Louisfert in the West and north-west and Châteaubriant in the north-west.
