Les Touches ( Breton : An Dosenneg ; Gallo : Lez Tosch ) is a French municipality with 2474 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . Les Touches is part of the arrondissement of Châteaubriant-Ancenis and the canton of Nort-sur-Erdre . The inhabitants are called touchois (es) .
geography
Les Touches is about 30 kilometers northeast of Nantes . On the hills of the wine region Gros Plant du Pays Nantais is Muscadet produced. Les Touches is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Joué-sur-Erdre in the north, Trans-sur-Erdre in the northeast, Mouzeil in the east, Ligné in the south and southeast, Petit-Mars in the south and Nort-sur-Erdre in the west.
The former route nationale 164 (today's D164) runs through the municipality .
