Saint-Julien-de-Vouvantes ( Breton : Sant-Juluan-Gouwent ; Gallo : Saent-Julien-de-Vóvantt ) is a French commune with 984 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Loire-Atlantique department in the Pays region de la Loire ; it is part of the arrondissement of Châteaubriant-Ancenis and the canton of Châteaubriant . The inhabitants are called Vouvantais (es) .
geography
Saint-Julien-de-Vouvantes is located about 62 kilometers south-southeast of Rennes and about 52 kilometers north-northeast of Nantes on the Don River , a tributary of the Vilaine . Saint-Julien-de-Vouvantes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Juigné-des-Moutiers in the north and northeast, La Chapelle-Glain in the south and east, Petit-Auverné in the southwest and Erbray in the west.
