Le Pin ( Breton : Ar Bineg ; Gallo : Le pain ) is a French commune in the Loire-Atlantique with 754 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the region of Pays de la Loire . It is assigned to the canton of Ancenis (until 2015: canton of Saint-Mars-la-Jaille ) and the arrondissement of Châteaubriant-Ancenis . The inhabitants are called Pinois .
geography
Le Pin is about 50 kilometers northeast of Nantes . Le Pin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Chapelle-Glain in the north and west, Challain-la-Potherie in the north and north-east and Vallons-de-l'Erdre in the south, east and west.
