Trans-sur-Erdre ( Breton : Treant to-Erzh ; Gallo : Trant ) is a French municipality with 1077 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . Riaillé belongs to the arrondissement of Châteaubriant-Ancenis and the canton of Nort-sur-Erdre (until 2015: canton of Riaillé ). The inhabitants are called Transéens .
geography
Trans-sur-Erdre is located about 30 kilometers north of Nantes on the Montagné river , a tributary of the Erdre , which runs in the north of the municipality. Trans-sur-Erdre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Joué-sur-Erdre in the north and west, Riaillé in the north and north-east, Teillé in the east and south-east, Mouzeil in the south and south-east and Les Touches in the west and south-west.
