Petit-Mars ( Breton : Kervac'h ) is a French municipality with 3601 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . Petit-Mars belongs to the arrondissement of Châteaubriant-Ancenis and the canton of Nort-sur-Erdre . The inhabitants are called Marsien (ne) s .

geography

Petit-Mars is about 25 kilometers northeast of Nantes . The Erdre River limits the municipality to the west. Petit-Mars is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Les Touches in the north, Ligné in the east, Saint-Mars-du-Désert in the south and southeast, Sucé-sur-Erdre in the southwest and Nort-sur-Erdre in the west.

The former route nationale 178 (today's D178) runs through the municipality .
