Noyal-sur-Brutz ( Breton : Noal-ar-Bruz ; Gallo : noyau ) is a French municipality with 592 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire ; it is part of the arrondissement of Châteaubriant-Ancenis and the canton of Châteaubriant (until 2015: Canton Rougé ). The inhabitants are called Noyalais .
geography
Noyal-sur-Brutz is located about 45 kilometers south-southeast of Rennes and about 63 kilometers north-northeast of Nantes in the valley of the Brutz . Noyal-sur-Brutz is surrounded by the neighboring communities Martigné-Ferchaud in the north, Villepot in the east, Soudan in the south and southeast, Rougé in the west and Fercé in the northwest.
