The Brutz is a river in France that runs in the Pays de la Loire and Bretagne regions. It rises in the municipality of Villepot , generally drains in a north-westerly direction and flows into the Semnon as a left tributary after around 25 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Soulvache and Teillay . On its way, the Brutz runs largely in the Loire-Atlantique department , but in the lower reaches it forms the border with the Ille-et-Vilaine department , which is also the regional border between the Pays de la Loire and Brittany .
