Teillay Town Hall

Teillay ( Breton : Tilheg ) is a French municipality with 1061 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . Teillay belongs to the Arrondissement of Redon and is part of the canton of Bain-de-Bretagne . The inhabitants are called partial lacois .

geography

Teillay is about 30 kilometers south-southeast of Rennes . The Brutz river forms the eastern boundary of the municipality and flows into the Semnon in the northeast . The Aron River rises on the southern border . Teillay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ercé-en-Lamée in the north and west, Thourie in the northeast, Soulvache in the east and northeast, Rougé in the southeast and Ruffigné in the south.
