La Dominelais , in Breton Doveneleg , is a commune in Brittany in France . It belongs to the Ille-et-Vilaine department , the Redon district and the Bain-de-Bretagne canton (until 2015 the Grand-Fougeray canton ).
It borders on La Noë-Blanche in the north-west, Bain-de-Bretagne in the north, Saint-Sulpice-des-Landes in the north-east, Sion-les-Mines in the south-east, Mouais in the south and Grand-Fougeray in the south-west . The settlement area is approximately 50 meters above sea level.
