Baulon ( Breton : Beloen ; Gallo : Baulon ) is a French municipality with 2,160 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . Baulon belongs to the Arrondissement of Redon and is part of the canton of Guichen . The inhabitants are called Baulonnais .

geography

Baulon is about 22 kilometers southwest of Rennes on the Canut . Baulon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Thurial in the north, Goven in the east, Lassy in the east and south-east, Guignen in the south-east, La Chapelle-Bouëxic in the south, Bovel in the south and south-west and Maxent in the north-west.
