Bourg-des-Comptes ( Breton : Gwikomm ; Gallo : Borg-Cons ) is a French municipality with 3264 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . Bourg-des-Comptes belongs to the Arrondissement of Redon and is part of the canton of Guichen . The inhabitants are called Bourgcomptois .
geography
Bourg-des-Comptes is about 26 kilometers south-southwest of Rennes . The Semnon forms the southern municipal boundary, the Vilaine the western municipal boundary . Bourg-des-Comptes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Laillé in the north, Crevin in the east and north-east, Poligné in the south-east, Pléchâtel in the south, Saint-Senoux in the west and south-west and Guichen in the west and north-west. The "Guichen-Bourg des Comptes" station ( Rennes – Redon line ) is located on the opposite bank of the Vilaine, in the Guichen area.
