Saint-Séglin church

Saint-Séglin (in Gallo Saent-Segelein , in Breton Sant-Sewenn ) is a municipality with 566 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French department of Ille-et-Vilaine in Brittany . It belongs to the canton of Guichen (until 2015 canton of Maure-de-Bretagne ) in the Arrondissement of Redon .

It is bordered by Maure-de-Bretagne to the north, Pipriac to the east, Bruc-sur-Aff to the south and Quelneuc to the west . The residents call themselves the Séglinois. The settlement area is on average a little more than 40 meters above sea level. The Combs River runs along the southern municipal boundary .
