Quelneuc ( Gallo Qelenoec , Breton Kelenneg ) was a French municipality with 550 last inhabitants (1 January 2013) in the department of Morbihan in the region of Brittany . Quelneuc is a district of the municipality of Carentoir .
geography
Quelneuc is around twenty kilometers north of Redon in the east of the Morbihan department. The municipality belonged to the communal association Communauté de communes du Pays de la Gacilly .
Neighboring communities were Comblessac in the north, Maure-de-Bretagne in the northeast, Saint-Séglin in the east, Bruc-sur-Aff in the southeast, Sixt-sur-Aff in the south and Carentoir in the southwest and west.
history
The community was created on May 2, 1863 by splitting off from Carentoir and was incorporated back into Carentoir on January 1, 2017.
