Sixt-sur-Aff ( Breton : Seizh ; Gallo : seat ) is a French municipality with 2129 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Redon and the Canton of Redon (until 2015: Canton Pipriac ). The inhabitants are called the Sixtins .
geography
Sixt-sur-Aff is located 46 kilometers southwest of Rennes on the Aff River . Sixt-sur-Aff is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Carentoir and Quelneuc in the north, Bruc-sur-Aff in the northeast, Saint-Just in the east, Renac in the southeast, Bains-sur-Oust in the south, Cournon in the south and southwest and La Gacilly in the West.
