The canton of Maure-de-Bretagne was a French canton in the Arrondissement Redon , in the Département Ille-et-Vilaine and in the region of Brittany until 2015 ; its main town was Maure-de-Bretagne .

history

The canton was established on February 15, 1790. From 1801 to 2015, nine municipalities belonged to the canton of Maure-de-Bretagne. With the reorganization of the cantons in France, the canton was dissolved in 2015 and the communes moved to other cantons.

The canton was located in the southwest of the Ille-et-Vilaine department.
