The canton of Rennes-Nord was a French canton in the Arrondissement Rennes , in the Département Ille-et-Vilaine and in the region of Brittany until 2015 ; its main town was Rennes .

history

The canton was created through a reorganization of the cantons in the Rennes area in 1973 and was named Rennes-IV until 1985. Until 1991, the municipalities of the canton of Betton belonged to Rennes-Nord. With the reorganization of the cantons in France, the canton was dissolved in 2015.
