The canton Argentré-du-Plessis was until 2015 a French canton in the arrondissement Fougères-Vitré , in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine and in the region of Brittany ; its main town was Argentré-du-Plessis .
history
The canton was established on February 15, 1790. From 1801 to 2015, nine municipalities belonged to the canton of Argentré-du-Plessis. With the reorganization of the cantons in France, the canton was dissolved in 2015 and the communes moved to other cantons.
