Vergéal (in Gallo Verjau , in Breton Gwerial ) is a commune in the French department of Ille-et-Vilaine in Brittany . It belongs to the canton of La Guerche-de-Bretagne in the Arrondissement of Fougères-Vitré . It is bordered by Torcé to the north, Étrelles to the northeast, Domalain to the east and south and Bais to the west . The residents call themselves Vergéalais .
