Brie Town Hall

Brie ( Breton : Brev ) is a French municipality with 950 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the arrondissement Fougères-Vitré and is part of the canton of Janzé . The inhabitants are called Briens .

geography

Brie is located about 20 kilometers south-southeast of Rennes on the Ise River . Brie is surrounded by the neighboring communities Corps-Nuds in the north and north-west, Janzé in the south and east, Saulnières in the south and south-west and Chanteloup in the west.
