It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities of Saint-Georges-de-Chesné , Saint-Jean-sur-Couesnon , Saint-Marc-sur-Couesnon and Vendel , which are part of the new municipality Have the status of a Commune déléguée . The administrative headquarters are located in Saint-Jean-sur-Couesnon.
