La Chapelle-Erbrée ( Breton : Ar Chapel-Ervoreg ) is a French community in Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the arrondissement Fougères-Vitré and the canton Vitré (until 2015: canton Vitré-Est ). The municipality has 698 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017), who are called Capellois .

geography

La Chapelle-Erbrée is about 43 kilometers east of Rennes . The Vilaine limits the municipality to the north. La Chapelle-Erbrée is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-M'Hervé in the north, Bourgon in the east and northeast and Erbrée in the south and west.
