Laignelet Town Hall

Laignelet ( Breton : Kernoanig ; Gallo : Leingelaé ) is a French municipality with 1163 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany ; it belongs to the arrondissement Fougères-Vitré and is part of the canton Fougères-2 (until 2015: canton Fougères-Nord ). The inhabitants are called Agnelais .

geography

Laignelet is about 49 kilometers northeast of Rennes . The Couesnon limits the community to the west. Laignelet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Landéan in the north, Le Loroux in the east and northeast, Fleurigné in the east and southeast, Beaucé in the south, Fougères in the southwest and Lécousse in the west and southwest.

The National Route 12 runs through the municipality .
