Le Loroux ( Breton : Lavreer-to-Dezerzh ) is a French municipality with 653 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany ; it belongs to the arrondissement Fougères-Vitré and is part of the canton Fougères-2 (until 2015: canton Fougères-Nord ). The inhabitants are called Lorousiens .

Le Loroux is about ten kilometers east-northeast of Fougères . Le Loroux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Landean in the north and north-west, Saint-Ellier-du-Maine in the east, Larchamp in the south-east and Fleurigné in the south and west.
