Lécousse ( Breton : Eskuz ) is a French municipality with 3233 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . Lécousse belongs to the arrondissement Fougères-Vitré and the canton Fougères-1 . The inhabitants are called Lécoussois .

geography

Lécousse is located in eastern Brittany on the Nançon River , which also forms the eastern municipal boundary. Lécousse is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Germain-en-Coglès in the north and north-west, Parigné in the north, Landéan in the north-east, Laignelet in the east and north-east, Fougères in the east and south-east, Javené in the south and Romagné in the west and south-west.

The National Route 12 runs through the municipality .
