The Nançon is a river in France that runs in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region . It rises near the hamlet of La Cautardière in the municipality of Landéan , close to the border with the neighboring municipality of Louvigné-du-Désert , generally drains from southwest to south, crosses the town of Fougères and, after 20 kilometers, flows into the river a few kilometers south of the town as a left tributary Couesnon . A second estuary reaches the Couesnon about 700 meters further downstream.
