Thierry Benoit
Thierry Benoit (born September 13, 1966 in Fougères ) is a French politician . He has been a member of the National Assembly since 2007 .
Benoit joined the Lécousse council near Fougères in 1989 and became deputy mayor in 2001. In 2004 he became a member of the General Council of the Ille-et-Vilaine department . This was followed by a candidacy in the 2007 parliamentary elections , where Benoit was able to win a mandate in the sixth constituency of Ille-et-Vilaine. In the National Assembly he was initially non-attached and later joined the parliamentary group of the Nouveau Center . In 2012 he was re-elected as a member of the centrist Alliance centriste .
