Boistrudan Town Hall

Boistrudan ( Breton : Koetruzan ; Gallo : Boez-Trudan ) is a French municipality with 710 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the arrondissement Fougères-Vitré and is part of the canton of Châteaugiron (until 2015: canton of Janzé ). The inhabitants are called Boistrudanais .

geography

Boistrudan is about 20 kilometers southeast of Rennes . The Seiche River limits the municipality to the south. Boistrudan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Piré-Chancé with Piré-sur-Seiche in the north and north-west, Moulins in the north-east, Marcillé-Robert in the east and south-east and Essé in the south and west.
